Google may list airfares in its search results

Google is not happy being the number one search engine in the world. It has spread its wings, quite literally to traveling business as well. The company is planning to build software for companies that have online travel agencies or do bookings on the internet.

This move will allow Google to add details of airline fares in their search results. Recently Google started adding room and hotel rates in their search results. When we tried contacting Google officials they preferred not to comment on the issue.

Travel agents will be happy to know that Google does not plan to book tickets because it gets good revenue from online travel agents and brokers.
