Most channels rely on reality shows for instant success. However, HBO thinks differently and is launching a new show Boardwalk Empire on Sunday, September 19th. If you love watching corrupt politicians, dirty cops and deadly gangsters then this show is for you. The show has an excellent crew and will be directed by well-known director Martin Scorsese. The show is based in a part on a book that has the same name.
HBO has left no stone unturned to ensure the show is a huge success. It has spent $5 million to recreate the set of Atlantic City that it will use for the show. Boardwalk Empire is set in Atlantic City of 1920’s that was the first year of prohibition. The huge outdoor set and the detailing given to clothing is the proof of the effort put in HBO. HBO has done considerable research before creating the set of the show. The company has spent more than 6 months to research the era and understand the happenings of the period.
On 15th the company kept the premiere of the show in New York which saw almost all members of the cast and the crew. Also seen at the premiere were the cast members of another popular HBO show Sopranos.
